By public transport
Fly to Zurich Airport. Take the SBB train to Zurich central station. From there take a train past two beautiful lakes, changing at Sargans, or take the Railjet train direct to Buchs SG. Journey time Zurich to Buchs approx. 75 minutes.
From St. Gallen a train goes direct to Buchs SG. At Buchs train station take the Postauto/Bus, direction Gams/Wildhaus/Nesslau, getting off at the second stop (Werdenberg). The Schlangehaus, information centre, old town and Werdenberg Castle are all in walking distance.

By car
From Zurich, follow the A3 in the direction of Chur. After Sargans take the A13 exit heading for St.Margrethen/St.Gallen. Exit at Buchs/Schaan FL. Follow the signs to Werdenberg Castle in the direction of Grabs. At the second roundabout, take the exit for Werdenberg/ Buchs St.-Galler-Strasse and continue to Marktplatz/Parkplatz am See (lakeside carpark).
From St. Gallen, follow the A1 in the direction of St. Margrethen/ Kreuzlingen. Continue south on the A13. Exit at Buchs/ Schaan FL. Follow the signs to Werdenberg Castle in the direction of Grabs. At the second roundabout, take the exit for Werdenberg/ Buchs St.-Galler-Strasse and continue to Marktplatz/Parkplatz am See (lakeside carpark).
